How fast are the alerts?
We check subscribed public groups about every 10 minutes and text you when something matches — if you opted in to SMS.
What does it cost?
UGetFirst is free during launch. You can watch 1 public group and up to 3 keywords. Paid plans will come later.
Do I need the Facebook app open?
No. UGetFirst works in the background — you just get a text when there's a match.
Do I have to get SMS texts?
No. SMS is optional. You can create an account with just your email and manage alerts in your dashboard. Leave the phone blank and the SMS box unchecked to skip messaging.
Can I stop the texts?
Anytime. Toggle alerts off in your dashboard or reply STOP to any message.
Can I add any Facebook group?
You subscribe to groups from our public catalog. If yours isn’t listed yet, request it — the more people who ask, the faster we add it.
